The Windows clipboard is really useful when it comes to copying files or folders from a partition to another and especially when copying pieces of text from one place to another. Unfortunately, the clipboard which comes with Windows has some downsides. For example, you cannot remove the formatting of the text when copying it from one place to another.

Still, you can take advantage of this feature when installing and using ClipboardFusion, a Windows application which enhances the Windows clipboard, adding new and useful features to it. After installing and launching the program, you will notice a small icon in the system tray. When right-clicking on the icon, you will be prompted to a menu, from where you can access all the program's features.

In order to automatically remove all the formatting from any kind of text copied to the Windows clipboard, you can just double click on the program's icon in the system tray. At this point, you will be able to paste the copied text to any application using basic formatting. Even the colors of the text are removed. Besides removing text formatting, ClipboardFusion also allows you to manipulate and modify the text copied to the clipboard, by replacing certain symbols with others or by removing certain characters from the copied text.

If you are an advanced computer user, you can take advantage of the macro feature included in the application, which allows you to create powerful C# macros that can automatically format and change the text copied into the clipboard. Virtually any kind of macro can be created.
